James Iovieno Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Iovieno of North Haven, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 11, 2026 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Caroline Iovieno and Pasquale Iovieno; and his sister Patricia Geer. He is survived by: his brother Michael Iovieno; his sons, Derek Iovieno and Bryan Iovieno; his daughter-in-law Winona; and his former wife Patricia Iovieno. He is also survived by four children and four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a contribution be made in his name to one of the many organizations he supported, including the North Haven Police Department, North Haven Fire Department, North Haven Garden Club, The Kate (Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center) in Old Saybrook, or House of Heroes Connecticut.
