Louis leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Louis’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Louis will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diane; his parents, Charles Hardy and Henrietta Hardy; and his brothers, Michael and David.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim (Lisa) of Marietta, NY, Greg (Judy) of Meriden, NH and Doug of West Hartford, CT; his great grandchild Louisa; his sister Liz Hardy-Jackson of Hyde Park; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Hardy and Nancy Pomerleau of Amherst, NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:00 PM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
