With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie C. Prete (North Haven, Connecticut), born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 23, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie C. Prete to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Caruso and Julia Proto Caruso; and her sister Linda Ceravone. She is survived by: her children, Leslie Amatrudo (Bernie) of Northford and John M. Prete of Naples, FL; her grandsons, Brandon and Jack Amatrudo; and her sister Joanne Avallone of North Haven.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Smilow Cancer Hospital, 20 York St., New Haven, CT 06510.
