He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Marie Berretta (Cimino); his parents, Girolamo Berretta and Marianna Berretta (Grizzaffi); and his brothers, Joseph, Robert, Vincent and Victor Berretta.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosina Donarumo (Louis) of Cheshire and Lisa Franco (Mark) of Wallingford; his siblings, Laura Stetinger of Sparkers, NY, Jennie Gambardella of Branford, Jerry Berretta of West Haven and Frank Berretta of California; his grandchildren, Louie, Nicholas, Michael Donarumo, Mark, Paul (Rachel) and Maria Franco; and his great grandchild Matteo Franco.
