In loving memory of Nicholas Berretta of North Haven, Connecticut, who departed this world on June 1, 2025 at the age of 93. Nicholas leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Marie Berretta (Cimino); his parents, Girolamo Berretta and Marianna Berretta (Grizzaffi); and his brothers, Joseph, Robert, Vincent and Victor Berretta.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosina Donarumo (Louis) of Cheshire and Lisa Franco (Mark) of Wallingford; his siblings, Laura Stetinger of Sparkers, NY, Jennie Gambardella of Branford, Jerry Berretta of West Haven and Frank Berretta of California; his grandchildren, Louie, Nicholas, Michael Donarumo, Mark, Paul (Rachel) and Maria Franco; and his great grandchild Matteo Franco.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home (4 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Barnabas Church (St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish) (44 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
