It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Gaetano of North Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Peter departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Peter may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Peter leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Gaetano and Ann Esposito Gaetano; and his sisters, Etta Gaetano Pittala and Ann-Louise Gaetano DeSorbo. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Calamita Gaetano; his sister Andrea Gaetano Polinsky (Eric) of Woodbridge; his niece Danielle Pittala Marple of Venice, FL; and his nephew Matthew Polinsky of Woodbridge. He is also survived by two great-nieces, and a great-nephew.
