With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Soledad T Granville (North Haven, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 7, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Soledad may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Terence Granville (Terry). She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Granville of Newington, CT; her grandchildren, Samantha Farley and Robert Farley Joanne Rafferty (Michael Rafferty) of Plantsville, CT; her great grandchildren, Julia and Jackson Rafferty Michele Watson (Steven Watson) of Manchester, CT; her sisters, Azucena Tatad Apolista of Mt. Vernon and Nieves Tatad Pangan of Mt. Vernon; Elijah Watson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the North Haven Funeral Home (36 Washington Ave, North Haven, CT 06473). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Therese Church (555 Middletown Ave, North Haven, CT 06473).
In honor of Solly's memory, the family encourages donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 1640, Hagerstown, MD 21741, a cause close to their hearts.
