He was predeceased by: his parents, Jason Smith and Madelyn Smith; his wife Audrey Smith; and his son-in-law Kevin J. Sexton of Westerly, R. I.. He is survived by: his children, Timothy D. Smith of Uncasville and Melanie S. Sexton of Westerly, R. I.; his grandchildren, Jared R. Sexton (Talia) of Pensacola, Fla., Zachary C. Sexton, Louisville and Jessica L. Sexton (Alex Mallory) of Westerly, R. I.; and his sister Janie Nickerson (Lewie) of Amherstview Ontario. He is also survived by nieces and nephew.
