With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Wood (Norwalk, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2025 at the age of 87. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barbara leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Barbara may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Peterson and Lillian Peterson; her son John Wilson; and her brother Courtney Peterson. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Wood; and her children, Barbara Haybeck, William Wilson and Stephen Wood of Kensington. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
