He was predeceased by : his parents, Marien Smith and Carl Parenty. He is survived by : his wife Ann Parenty (Marks); his sister Marilyn Swaim; and his children, Nancy Stevens, Michelle Gibbs and Carl Parenty.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Home (5 E Wall St, Norwalk, CT 06851).
