It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carlos M. Nieves Sr. of Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Nieves and Ruperta Nieves; and his siblings, Antonio Nieves, Benito Nieves, Efrain Nieves, Ana Nieves Soto, Santos Nieves, Wilma Emilia Nieves, Severiano Nieves, Aida Nieves Crespo and Esther Zoraida Nieves.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Nieves; his children, Jasmin Nieves, Erica Payano and Carlos Nieves Jr.; his grandchildren, Angel Jr. and Jeiliany; and his brothers, Jose, Cecilio and Benjamin Nieves. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation (453 Shippan Ave, Stamford, CT 06902). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at the Spring Grove Cemetery (41 Hecker Ave, Darien, CT 06820).
