Cosmo Morabito Obituary
Cosmo Morabito, 76, of Norwalk, Connecticut, passed away on June 18, 2026.
A lifelong Norwalk resident, Cosmo was known for his friendly, polite nature and his readiness to help anyone in need. He enjoyed afternoons at Calf Pasture Beach with a regular group of friends and many rounds of golf at Oak Hills, where he was a member for many years. Cosmo was also an avid cook; his pasta e fagioli, Italian sauce, and chicken Milanese were family favorites.
In 2001, Cosmo and his wife purchased a 1929 home near the Norwalk Green and lovingly restored it over two decades, renovating it room by room. His meticulous attention to detail and his generosity in helping relatives with renovation projects reflected his fastidious craftsmanship.
He is survived by his wife, Cathleen Morabito; daughter, Deanna Morabito, and her partner, Greg Meyers; son, Matthew Morabito, and his husband, Andrew Myers; two granddaughters, Scarlett and Hope Meyers; and two sisters, Connie Phostole and Maryanna Zito. He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and the many neighbors whose lives he touched.
