With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Foristel of Norwalk, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her parents, Morrie Helitzer and Florence Saperstein; and her husband Joseph Foristel, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughter Sarah Foristel of Norwalk, Connecticut; her stepmother Irene Helitzer of Sea Cliff; her siblings, Jonathan Helitzer (Michelle) of Simsbury, Connecticut, Eve Helitzer (Matt Temkin) of Brooklyn and Elizabeth Helitzer (Almero) of The Curragh, Ireland; and her siblings' children, Adam Helitzer (Carly) of Wauwatosa, Charlie Temkin of Brooklyn, Ari Helitzer, Villiers of The Curragh, Ireland, Eliane Helitzer (Evan Weinman) of Seattle, Gretchen Helitzer of Simsbury, Kirsten Helitzer of Simsbury, Isa Helitzer and Villiers of The Curragh, Ireland.. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Spear Miller Funeral Home (39 S Benson Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824).
