Daniel Victor Obuchowski Obituary
Daniel Victor Obuchowski, 87, loving husband of Elsa Peterson Obuchowski, of Norwalk, passed away on January 5, 2026 at The Greens at Cannondale in Wilton, CT. Born in Stamford, he was the son of the late Victor Joseph and Catherine Agnes (Quinn) Obuchowski.
He attended Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic school and J. M. Wright Technical High School in Stamford. After serving in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Policeman, Dan settled in Norwalk and worked in the construction industry. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 38. He also worked on golf courses, primarily at the Stanwich Club in Greenwich. He was active in Masonic organizations in Norwalk and the greater Fairfield County region.
Dan loved animals, especially German shepherds (Jess, Gretchen, Eva, Cagney, and Kirk). He enjoyed playing golf and watching stock car racing and hockey.
Dan is survived by niece Geraldine "Geri-Ann" (Steven) Toscano (John, Anthony James "AJ," Nicholas); nephew Daniel T. (Michele) Obuchowski (Daniella, Benjamin); step-niece Teresa (Augustus) Sclafani (Victoria, Dominic, Adriana); and several great-grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald V. Obuchowski, and his first wife, Annie "Nan" (Allen) Obuchowski.
Funeral Services with military honors will be held on Saturday, January 10, at 10 AM at St. Paul's on the Green, 60 East Avenue, Norwalk.
