We are sad to announce that, on August 2, 2025, at the age of 83, David Russell Ryder of Norwalk, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ryder and Julia Ryder; and his grandsons, Ryan Magee and Sean Whitteaker. He is survived by: his wife Paula Ryder of Brookline, VT; his daughters, Tracey Magee (Ed) of Naugatuck, CT and Marcie Ryder (Normand Maurice) of Norwalk, CT; his grandchildren, Devon D'Uva (Joseph) of Watertown, CT, Megan Guiliano (Anthony) of Watertown, CT, Kristopher Whitteaker of Norwalk, CT and Tyler Whitteaker of Norwalk, CT; and his great grandchildren, Grace, Ella D'Uva, Ava, Jake and Cole Guiliano.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in David's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org).
