She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Justine and Joseph F.; her daughter Jenny Ruffin Ross; her son-in-law Honsy; her grandson Kemari; her spouse Perlie Ruffin; her children, Jennifer Ross (Hassaan) and Todd Hynes (Anna); and her stepdaughters, Trinetta Ruffin and Renee Harrington (Andre). She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren, and six of her seven siblings.
