Denise Dvorachek Obituary

Denise K. Dvorachek, 82, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital. A lifelong resident of Norwalk, Denise was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kendi, and predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Dvorachek Jr.

She worked as a bookkeeper at various Norwalk businesses, including Connecticut Surgical Supply Company and Soundview Medical Associates, and retired in 2002.

Denise loved cruising through Calf Pasture Beach in her Mustang convertible and binge-watching her favorite shows. Some of her happiest memories were traveling to the Caribbean with her family and spending weekends with her best friend, Joyce Somers. She cherished quality time with her grandchildren, always eager to share a story.

Denise is survived by her children, Thomas J. Dvorachek III and his wife Cindy, and daughter Stacey Livingstone and her husband Jim, as well as two grandchildren, Taylor and J.T. Livingstone.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 12, from 5 – 7 PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon on Wednesday, in the Chapel at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
