Edwin M. Garate-Cavero Obituary

Edwin M. Garate-Cavero passed away at his home in Norwalk on December 30, 2025 at the age of 48. He was born in Peru on December 21, 1977 to his loving parents Francisco Garate and Elsa Cavero.

Edwin's hobbies were playing 8 ball pool, watching his favorite futbol teams Barcelona, Crystal, and his nation Peru.

In addition to his parents, Edwin is survived by his two daughters: Eunice and Damaris Garate as well as three brothers: David L. Garate, Frank J. Garate and Milko Garate. He also leaves behind his three beloved nieces: Angela, Alexis and Abby Garate and one cherished granddaughter Jade Mendez.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 6, 2026, from 5-7 pm at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave. Norwalk, CT. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday January 7, 2026, 11:00 am at the funeral home followed by burial at Riverside Cemetery 81 Riverside Ave Norwalk.
