Ernest R. Milici Obituary

Ernest Richard Milici, age 64, passed away peacefully at Norwalk Hospital from Frontal Temporal Dementia with Aphasia on April 25, 2026 with his mother at his side. Ernest was born in Norwalk on February 18, 1962 to Carmella (Cardillo) Milici and the late Joseph Robert Milici. He attended Norwalk Public Schools and began his trade as a Plaster/Drywall professional employed with his grandfather's company, Mariano Cardillo and Sons, before moving to the west coast where he continued his passion for the trade.

Ernest enjoyed skiing, gardening and cheering on his loved ones at sporting events as he found great joy with all things involving his family and friends who he loved as family. He also was very proud to serve as an usher for St. Matthew Parish where he was well known for his welcoming personality at the Sunday 12:00 noon mass. Ernie's infectious laugh and witty personality, along with his generous spirit, will live on in the hearts of all he shared his love with forever.

In addition to his mother, Ernest is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn Milici, of Denver, Colorado and his son, Nathan Milici, of Madison, Wisconsin. Also surviving are his sisters, Lori (Alan) Dick and Linda (Stephen) Galyas, his five nephews, Joseph, Michael, Daniel, Stephen and Matthew and several wonderful friends and relatives. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Manuel Diaz, Jr.

The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue Norwalk, CT from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue Norwalk, CT followed by interment at St. John Cemetery 223 Richard's Avenue in Norwalk.
