Evelyn N. Tomlinson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn N. Tomlinson of Norwalk, Connecticut, born in Hillsborough, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2026 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Tomlinson; her sons, Carl E. Oliver Sr. and Will Oliver; her grandson James Oliver Jr.; and her brothers, Terry Lloyd, T. W. Lloyd and Michael Lloyd.

She is survived by: her son James A. Oliver Sr. (Chero); her daughter-in-law Sonja Oliver; her grandchildren, Tewaunna Brown (Amani), Carl E. Oliver Jr., Natasha Lopez, Cramer Oliver and Cameron Oliver; and her sisters, Beatrice N. Pinckney (Harry), Frances Norman, Shirley Glover, Kathryn Howard (Reginald), Barbara Lloyd and Debbie Lloyd (Clifford). She is also survived by loving cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, treasured friends, and a beloved companion.
