He was predeceased by: his parents, Sue Shimko (Longobricco) and Frank Shimko; his wife Joan D. Shimko; and his sister Joan Roichek. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Kathleen Persons (Ted); his granddaughter Victoria Fitzsimmons (Robert); his great grandchild Brooke Fitzsimmons; his stepbrothers, Gary Shimko, Richard Shimko, Tyrone Shimko, Jeff Shimko and Dennis Shimko; his sisters, Marianne Frederick and Janet Marsan; and his sister-in-law Diane Kalnasky.
