Gerald Steve Frank Obituary

Gerald Steve Frank, 71, died on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Norwalk Hospital. He was born on February 3rd, 1955, to Steve and Mildred (Hyde) of Norwalk.

Jerry, the wild child, settled down on April 21st, 1979, marrying his love, Patricia A Ross. Jerry and Patty welcomed their first child, Geralyn (1982) and second child, Andrew (1985) who he loved dearly. He was a very happy grandpa to three grandchildren, Jayden, Ayden and Leah. Jerry is also survived by his brother Michael Frank, and many nieces and nephews.

Gerald worked for Darien Fuel for over 40 years as a service technician. He thoroughly enjoyed working for the company and keeping his customers satisfied.

Jerry enjoyed hunting with buddies in NY and Pennsylvania; he enjoyed fishing and boating with friends, family and the Norwalk Boat Club and he really loved hitting the crap tables in Vegas.

Jerry joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Norwalk, teaching safe boating, organizing the booth at the Oyster fest and other duties.

Always with a smile, maybe a joke, Jerry's spirit will live on through family, friends and his love of good music.

The family will receive friends and family Wednesday Oct 14, 4pm-7pm at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. A Mass will be held on Thursday Oct 15th, 10am, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk.
