In the vast expanse of eternity, Irene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Irene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Fredriksson and Helga. She is survived by: her husband Peter J. D'Amico; and her siblings-in-law, Anthony D'Amico of Westport and Geraldine Stauss (D'Amico) of Fairfield, CT. She is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews.
