He is survived by : his wife Donna Whittaker Keel; his siblings, Edna Keel, Curtis Keel, Donnie Keel and Patty Keel; his sons, James Keel Jr. (Virgina) and Davore; his grandchildren, Briana Keel Figueroa, Destinee Boyd, Jayden Diaz, Samaya Diaz and Laila Diaz; and also Velma Keel.
