Jeanne leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Jeanne’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Jeanne will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her close friend Lulu; her husband Richard Claver Bessett; and her children, Devon Anne Brown, Christine Alison Woodman, Mark David Bessette and Suzanne Jolie Bessett. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Assumption Church (98 Riverside Ave, Westport, CT 06880).
