He was predeceased by : his parents, Juan Manuel Lopez and Angelina Bonilla. He is survived by : his wife Ramona Velez Cancel of Norwalk; and his children, Lissette Cardona (Howard Cardona), Jeanette Lopez (Ramon Vazquez Quiles), Jose Lopez-Velez, Carlos, Chelsey, Giovanni, Adamary and Isabella. He is also survived by siblings, many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
