She was predeceased by: her husband John "Bobby" McDonald; her parents, Matthew Rendall and Margaret Rendall; her siblings, Alan, John Barry, Robert and Victoria Dippolito; and her grandson Nicholas Testa.

She is survived by: her children, Peggy, Dawn Ruggiero (Dominic), John McDonald (Grace), Kelly King (Christopher) and Janine Testa; and her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew McDonald, Shea, Mason, Kelli, Patrick, Sean King, Gianna and Makenna Testa. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, and several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.
