She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Phelps (Nichols) and Harley P. Phelps; her husband Norman A. Zimmerman; and her brother Harley Phelps, Jr.. She is survived by: her sons, Marshall Zimmerman (Karen) of Wake Forest, NC, Jon Zimmerman (Mary Prosser) of Alpharetta, GA, Jeffrey Zimmerman (Irene) of Norwalk, CT and Peter Zimmerman (Wendi) of Randolph, NJ.; her grandchildren, Katy Lynch of Pitman, NY, Brian Zimmerman of Westerville, OH, Christy Jordan of Durham, NC, Tessa Zimmerman of Boulder, CO, Olivia Zimmerman of Windham, CT, Samantha Zimmerman of Randolph, NJ and Jack Zimmerman of Hoboken, NJ; and her brother Richard Phelps of Conroe, TX.. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
