With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nicolaos Marmanides in Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on November 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Nicolaos may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marmanides and Paula Marmanides (Zografidis); and his daughter Liz. He is survived by: his wife Parthena; his sons, John and Milton; his grandchildren, Niko and Christopher; and his brothers, Gary and Jimmy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (238 W Rocks Rd, Norwalk, CT 06851). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 at the St. John Cemetery (223 Richards Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850).
