She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin McCrae; her parents, Matthew Ashley, Sr. and Ruth Ashley (Fuller); her mother-in-law Thelma McCrae; her sisters-in-law, Gretta Ashley, Debra McCrae, Barbara McCrae and Suzette McCrae; Cynthia A. Derry (James).
She is survived by: her children, Timothy (Angie) McCrae (CT), Tamara McCrae (NC), Krista McCrae (CT), Kyana (Louquan) and Seignious (NY); her father-in-law Charlie McCrae; her siblings, Matthew Ashley Jr. (NC), Michael (Evette), Ashley (GA), Corey (Jessica), Ruth (Richard), Perry (CT), Christine (Ronald), Dixon (NC), Leslie Ashley (CT) and Vicky Ashley (CT); her siblings-in-law, Ivory (Glory), Boyd (SC), Charles, Nita McCrae and Dorothy Patricia (CT); her sister Shirley Williamson (CT); and her nephew Calvin McCrae (CT). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
