She is survived by: her husband Fred Gilmore; her daughters, Karen Kitt (Fred "Junior" Kitt) of Norwalk and Nicole Gilmore of New Haven, Connecticut.; her grandchildren, Tevon Gilmore, Xavier Kitt, Cierra Kitt, Joshua Kitt, Addison Samuels, Lola Samuels and CJ Samuels; her great grandchildren, Gianna Kitt and Nahla Gilmore; and her siblings, Alfred Massey (Joan), Curtis Massey, Barbara Ann Oliver, Linda Wilson, Joyce Boyd, Shavonne Williams (Michael), Alfreda Massey and Felicia Massey. She is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and a god daughter.
