Peter B. Gordan Obituary
Peter B. Gordan, 87, beloved husband of Mary (Correia) Gordan for 58 years, died on August 9, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Rye, NY, on October 16, 1937, he was the son of the late Peter P. and Elizabeth (Beam) Gordan. He was also predeceased by his siblings Florence (John) Sirade, Irene Sage, Jean (Ralph) Armstrong and Richard (Elizabeth) Gordan, as well as his son, Christopher Gordan.
Raised in Darien, he attended Darien schools and worked in telecommunications for S.N.E.T/ AT&T for 45 years, and was an active member of REACH at St. Jerome Church. He also dabbled in photography, enjoyed coffee, chocolate, Frank Sinatra, a glass of merlot, going to the theater with his wife and spending time with his family.
Peter enlisted in the Navy, serving two years active duty on the destroyer tender, U.S.S. Cascade, as an electronics technician.
In addition to Mary, he is survived by their daughter Jennifer E. Lusardo (David Church), loving grandchildren Joseph David Losardo and Jake Peter Lusardo, two sisters-in-law Cecilia DiMeglio and Rosemarie (William) Potter and several nieces and nephews.
His family will receive friends on Friday, August 15, from 6 to 8PM at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Funeral Services with military honors will be held Saturday, at 11 AM, at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Rd, Norwalk. Burial will be held privately at a later date.
