He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Monique Ilonka Govil; his children, Veshal Robert Govil of Alexandria, VA, Hans Coen Govil (Leigh Garrick) of Weston, CT, Nisha Sonja Amparo (Rawlin Amparo) of Stratford, CT and Anouk Chandra Bhat (Krishndas Mohan Bhat) of Wilton, CT.; his grandchildren, Jayden, Hazel, Reyna, Liliana, Devin and Asha; his siblings, Sharad Kumar Govil and Geeta Mital; and his parents, Lakshmi Narayan and Chandra Mukhi Govil.
