With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raquel Stevens (Norwalk, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2026 at the age of 55. She was predeceased by: her mother Rutha Lee Hankins; her brother DeWitt Stevens, III; her grandparents, Clarence Hankins, Ruth Hankins Pace, Reverend DeWitt Stevens, Sr., Eva Stevens and Dorothy Winfrey; her aunts, Gwendolyn Hope-Martin and Kathryn Hart; her uncle Bobby L. Reid; and her cousins, Jermaine Hart and Tyamonee Johnson.

She is survived by: her father DeWitt Stevens, Jr.; her sons, Xavier Giddiens and Zachary Giddiens; the father of her children Orlando Sean Giddiens; her sisters, Tammie Jones (Sam) and Tiffany Sanchez (Juan); her aunts and uncles, Gary Stevens, James Love, Clarence Hankins, Jr., Geoffrey Martin, Horace Ray Hankins (Wendy), Marva Reaves, Shirley Smith, Diantha Reid and Norma Jean Carter (Curtis); her cousins, Kimberly Hankins and Teri Johnson (Thierno); and her godmother Alveria Pierce "Ma Pierce". She is also survived by loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
