He was predeceased by: his parents, John Valus and Margaret Valus (Kerekes); his former wife Gail; and his siblings, Rita, Richard and John.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sons, Michael and Jeffrey (Deborah); and his grandsons, Michael (Danielle) and Tyler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home (92 East Ave, Norwalk, CT 06851). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mathew Church (216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, CT 06854). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the St. John Cemetery (223 Richards Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850).
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to a youth scholarship program of your choice.
