Rose Marie Boyian Obituary
Rose Marie Boyian, beloved wife of Thomas Boyian, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on September 12, 2026. She was born in Poughkeepsie, New York, on December 4, 1943, to the late William and Edna (Mabie) Creighton. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, New York.
Rose cherished every moment spent with her family and took great pride in watching each generation grow. Her family was at the heart of her life, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In addition to her husband, Rose is survived by her two children, Maria Hughes (Michael) and Paul Boyian (Helen); her cherished grandchildren, Michael Hughes, Jr., Dylan Hughes (Josselyne), Tina Rose Boyian, and Michael Boyian (Bailey); and her four great-grandchildren, Dylan, Danny, Derek, and Damian Hughes.
Rose was predeceased by her beloved son, Michael Boyian, in 1991.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to noon at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk. Prayers and a blessing will be offered at noon, followed by words of remembrance from Rose's family. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery, 81 Riverside Avenue, Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Rose's memory to make a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
