Rose J. Claro Obituary
Rose J. Claro, beloved wife of the late Angelo E. Claro, passed away on November 25, 2023, at the Regional Hospice facility. She was 97 years old. She was born on April 20, 1926, in Brooklyn, NY to the late Vito and Mary (Valletta) Vavallo.
Rose was an accomplished seamstress sewing all her life for her family and friends. She loved her glitz and glam so be sure to think of her whenever you see anything that sparkles.
Rose is survived by her Daughter Susan Czel (Stephen) of Bethel, CT, and her son James Claro (Susan) of Milford, CT. She also leaves behind two grandchildren; Shannon Sarver of Brookfield and Stephanie Lucien (James) of Long Island as well as two cherished great grandchildren; Connor and Taylor Sarver.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 29, 2023, from 4-7 pm at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave. Norwalk, CT. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday November 30, 2023, 10:00 am, at St. Matthews Church 216 Scribner Ave. Norwalk, followed by a burial at St. Johns Cemetery, 223 Richards Ave. Norwalk.
