Rosemarie Nagy Obituary
With love and cherished memories, we announce the passing of Rosemarie "Ro" Nagy, who passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 24, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on December 31, 1952, in Norwalk, Connecticut, Ro was the daughter of the late John Constabile and Florence Angione.
Ro was predeceased by her beloved husband, John N. Nagy Jr., her sister, Dolores "Dee" Puskas, and her brother, John Constabile. She is survived by her beloved son, Michael Nagy; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Nagy; and grandson, Everett, who brought so much joy to her life. She is also survived by her sister, Arlene Suares; brother, Keith Constabile; her special niece, Lexi Puskas, and Lexi's husband, Curtis Wright; as well as her loving nieces and nephew, extended family, and friends.
Ro and John shared a love like no other. They were best friends and true partners whose devotion carried them through all of life's joys and challenges. John lovingly cared for Ro for many years with incredible patience, tenderness, and selflessness, and she loved him just as fiercely in return. Their bond was truly special and an inspiration to everyone fortunate enough to witness it.
Affectionately known as "Aunt Ro," "Pretty Lady," and most recently "Grandma," Ro was sweet, kind, loving, and feisty in the very best way. She had a wonderful creative spirit and loved sewing beautiful quilts, painting, and especially being a hairdresser. Anyone who knew Ro also knew that her hair, makeup, and nails were always beautifully done. Looking her best was simply part of who she was.
For more than half of her life, Ro courageously battled multiple sclerosis. Through it all, she remained strong, determined, and resilient. MS challenged her body, but it never took away her spirit. She was a fighter who never gave up and continued to face life with love, strength, and a smile.
Although her family will miss her more than words can express, they find comfort in knowing that Ro and John are together once again. The beautiful love they shared will live on through their family and in the countless memories they leave behind.
A visitation will be held on Monday November 2, 2026 from 4-6 pm at Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave. Norwalk, CT. Burial will be held privately by her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Ro's memory to MS Focus: The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, supporting individuals and families affected by multiple sclerosis. Donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation (https://www.nationalmssociety.org).
