She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Chaput and Fabiola Chaput; and her husband Leo. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Silva (Larry) of Lisbon, Diane Ducharme (Glen) of Bozrah, Daniel Benoit (Terri) of Norwich, Paula Sinko (Steve) of Salem and Paul Benoit of Taftville; her grandchildren, Chrystal Ruley, Ellis Ruley, Aimee Vetter, Kelly Turkington, Jennifer Benoit, Amanda Strickland, Stephanie Guertin, Kara Sinko and Kayla Sinko; and her great grandchildren, Phoebe Vetter, Zane Vetter, Cole Turkington, Layla Turkington, Bradley Strickland, Madison Strickland and Brody Peterson. She is also survived by her family, raising five children and spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Godere - Guillot Funeral Home, Inc. (21 N 2nd Ave, Taftville, CT 06380). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (156 Providence St, Taftville, CT 06380). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (260 Harland Rd, Norwich, CT 06360).
