It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Rioux (Norwich, Connecticut), born in Montville, Connecticut, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Normand M. Rioux; and her parents, Nicolas Fanizzi and Lena Fanizzi (Young). She is survived by: her children, Laureen Kaika of Norwich, Nadene Kumpf (JR) of Uncasville, Carol Spencer of Colchester, Lisa Flanders (Kenneth) of Salem and Normand Rioux (Todd Barry) of Bozrah; and her sisters, Lorraine Dugas of Norwich, Kathleen Tourjee of Salem and Toni Sidler of Port Orange, FL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
