Cheryl Hoffman Obituary
NORWICH – Cheryl Hoffman, 60, died peacefully at Orchard Grove in Uncasville on Nov. 24, 2018. She was born in Key West, Florida on Sept. 24, 1958 to the late Malvin and Mary (Sulis) Hoffman. In 1976 she graduated from N.F.A. and entered the workforce. Cheryl was both a bartender at the former Workman's Club in the Greenville section of Norwich and a Molding Supervisor at Plas Pak in the Norwich Business Park.
When Cheryl wasn't working she was busy caring for her devoted son Andrew as he grew. She loved the beach and animals and being around friends and family. Cheryl is survived by her son; Andrew Hoffman (Natasja) of Norwich, sisters; Lisa (Brad) Smith of Ballston Spa, NY, Pam (Phil) Lau of Easley, SC, Dona (John) Young of Barton, VT, brothers; Kenny (Sue) Arsenault of Norwich, Stevie Arsenault of Norwich, Deny Arsenault of Kittery, ME, her new baby grandson; Bentley Drew Hoffman, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother Rene and his wife Liz. Visitation will be held on Friday, Nov 30th from noon to 2pm at Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT. Cheryl's son will offer words at 2pm. Burial will be held at a later date and time. Donation in Cheryl's memory may be made to the animal shelter of the donor's choice.
