He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Hale Pierson and Hjalmar Pierson; and his siblings, Charles Pierson and Kathleen Pierson Lanier. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Tyler Pierson; his children, David Pierson Jr. of Sterling, CT., William "Bill" Pierson of Taftville, CT. and Sandra "Sandy" Pierson Arauz of Graham, NC.; and his siblings, Eleanor Fallgren of Minnesota, Robert Pierson of North Carolina and Leonard Pierson of Wisconsin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
