In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy David leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though David may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Ann Schoon (Dwyer); and his parents, Leonard Schoon and Naomi Schoon (Van Fleet).
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church & Allen Funeral Service (136 Sachem St, Norwich, CT 06360). The military honors was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
