He was predeceased by: his wife Winifred. He is survived by: his sons, Padraic D. Riley (Frances) of Larchmont, NY, Timothy D. Riley (Tamara) of Manhattan, Michael D. Riley (Catherine) of Old Saybrook, Christopher D. Riley (Caitlin) of Essex and Emmett D. Riley (Melissa) of Norwich; his sister Mary Miskiewicz; and his sibling's children, Kathleen and Mark.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Godere - Guillot Funeral Home, Inc. (21 N 2nd Ave, Taftville, CT 06380). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral of St. Patrick Broadway Norwich (213 Broadway, Norwich, CT 06360). A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (815 Boswell Ave, Norwich, CT 06360).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the Cathedral of St. Patrick, 213 Broadway, Norwich 06360.
