He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Podeszwa and Phyllis Podeszwa. He is survived by: his siblings, Sophie Maynard and Henry Podeszwa; his wife Wanda Olszewski; his children, Stephen Podeszwa (Leona) and Christine Suratt (Benjamin); and his grandchildren, Megan, Thomas, Patrick, Molly Podeszwa, William and Anna Suratt.
