It is with sadness that the passing of Gloria M. John (Norwich, Connecticut) is shared. Gloria, born on March 26, 1927 in Willimantic, Connecticut, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hall and Mae Hall (Loranger); her sisters, Ruth Landeck and Delores Keesse; her husbands, Mason O. Angell and John P. John; and her grandson Adam Wilson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia and Marilyn (Willimantic); and her stepchildren, Bill John (Billy), Cassandra Bosco (Sandy) and Chris Walker (Chrissy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Maplewood Cemetery (184 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, CT 06360).
