With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeremiah A. Shea (Norwich, Connecticut), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jeremiah left this world on April 19, 2024 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by : his parents, William Shea and Marguerite Shea (Brown); his wife Rita P. Desrosiers; and his grandson William Edwards. He is survived by : his children, Catherine Pizzi (John) of Uncasville, Bernadette Ouimet (Paul) of Taftville and Jeremiah E. Shea (Naomi) of Lisbon; and his grandchildren, Gregory, Matthew Pizzi, Jeremiah A. Shea II, Elizabeth Binczewski, Christine, Laura Edwards and Deanna Shea. He is also survived by great grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (156 Providence St, Taftville, CT 06380). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:15 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (815 Boswell Ave, Norwich, CT 06360).
