He was predeceased by: his parent Hosanna Chartier; and his wife Cecile Chartier (Bessette). He is survived by: his children, Linda Harris of Ledyard, CT, Alan Chartier of Willimantic, CT, Beverly Dupuis of Wilton, NH, Monica Duplice of Lisbon, CT, Kenneth Chartier of Waterford, CT, Stephen Chartier of Sebastian, FL and Carolyn Ward of Ignacio, CO. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Joseph to Beacon Hospice, 111 Founders Plaza, Ste 1802, East Hartford, CT 06108 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Church, Maple Ave. Uncasville on Friday, August 19th at 10:00 AM.
