It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth A. Gero (Norwich, Connecticut), who passed away on November 7, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Gero; his child Laurie Gero; his brother Paul Gero; his parents-in-law, George Schmidt and May Kalin; and his sister-in-law Barbara Rood (David).
He is survived by: his wife Claire (Schmidt); his children, David Gero (Laura) and Kathleen Okoney (Rich); his grandchildren, Dravyn Okoney, Elle Okoney and Ava Gero; his brothers, Richard Gero (Jan) and Michael Gero (Kim); and his brother-in-law Robert Schmidt.
In lieu of flowers, Ken would want people to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, respect other perspectives, pass along gestures of kindness and "THINK before you do or speak".
