She was predeceased by: her parents, Roderick Lawless and Florence Lawless (Chapel); her brother Roderick; her husband Charles William Maplesden; and her children, Donna Counihan, Charles "Chuck" and Lynn Barry.

She is survived by: her daughter Jane Smith (Russell); and her grandchildren, John Barry (Jane), Henry Hoyle (Tawnya), Jeff Barry (Sheri), Hillery Errett (Clayton), Chelsea Kalil (Rick), Kathryn Maderia (Kevin) and Allison Small (Ryan). She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
