We bid farewell to Louis R. Miner Sr. of Norwich, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 3, 2025 at the age of 87. Louis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Louis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Louis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy F. Miner and Christine Miner (Tringe); his wife Barbra; and his daughter Laura. He is survived by: his son Louis R. Minerr Jr. of Connecticut; his stepsons, Jeffrey Fowler of South Carolina and Brian Fowler of Massachusetts; his sister Cecilia Hanley of Florida; his granddaughters, Kayla Miner and Karen Fowler; and his close friend Pam Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Woyasz & Son Funeral Home (11 Jerome Rd, Uncasville, CT 06382). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (815 Boswell Ave, Norwich, CT 06360).
